What made you want to work for Edmentum International?
Coming from a background in education, I always wanted to continue to work within this sector. Edmentum International allows me to continue supporting individuals in their learning but to also witness the diversity of education and schools around the world.
What are the most enjoyable aspects of your job?
I work with an array of different schools; from ones which have less than 50 students, all the way to institutions which house over 2,000 students. The countries that I work with are equally as varied, stretching from Europe, down to Africa, through to the UAE and across to Asia.
Tell us a piece of advice you’d give to teachers about Edmentum International or its solutions.
Call us if you need any support or have any questions! Supporting and working with schools and their amazing staff from around the world is incredibly exciting.
Tell us a fact you like to give customers about how they can use Edmentum International’s solutions to their benefit?
Their pure ability in supporting your daily work life. All the solutions offer the ability to assist with planning, differentiating and diversifying work, depending on students’ needs and abilities; they also allow you to track the progress of all students to highlight the specific areas they excel in and those that may need additional support in.
What is your favorite Edmentum International solution and why?
Exact Path. The solution will gather all the data from diagnostic tests for each student and provide them with revision to support in areas which they have some weaknesses in. This solution is not only great for individualized learning but also to help teachers focus in on specific needs.
Who was your favorite teacher at school and why?
Ms. Tribe, my English teacher. Ms. Tribe was the first teacher who used different methods of teaching to find the one which suited my learning best. This enabled me to go from strength to strength in a subject which I previously struggled in.
What was your favorite subject in school and why?
History. I love to understand change and why things are the way they are. For me the past has determined the present which will ultimately affect the future. Therefore, if we understand the past, we can positively affect the future.
